I have enjoyed a 20-year professional career specialising in theatre & music, exploring & honing skills as a musician, composer, actor, puppeteer, producer, writer, band leader, workshop leader & more.
Key achievements & experiences include:
composing music for 64+ productions at the Minack Theatre and for partners such as Exeter Northcott & Kneehigh Theatre
Touring internationally with work that I produced, nationally with Kneehigh as an actor musician (enjoying a 5* review from The Times), & across the UK as a musician with the Chai Wallahs touring stage
Creating, leading & and managing an ongoing performance development programme for young people at South West Music School
Becoming an Associate Artist at The Hall for Cornwall
Recording, editing, mixing & mastering podcasts & audio plays, including o-region's Tales from the Horse’s Mouth
Creating commissioned music for a range of partners – from Seascape Dance Company to Tatty Teddies & yoga instructor Rachel Bonkink
an incredible learning experience producing an album with local folk artist Sid Bloomfield, which saw me taking on all engineering aspects for the first time
developing my own scratch show BABA about being a mixed heritage single father with development funding from Beyond Face & performing at the landmark theatre & The Hall for Cornwall.
